TeesTidy is committed to full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We process personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

2. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following lawful bases: performance of a contract (to deliver cleaning services you have requested), legitimate interests (to operate and improve our business), and legal obligation (to meet regulatory requirements).

3. Your GDPR Rights

You have the right to: be informed about how your data is used, access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data (right to be forgotten), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing.

4. Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of your GDPR rights, contact us at hello@teestidy.com. We will respond to your request within one month. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

5. Data Breach Procedure

In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours where required, and inform affected individuals without undue delay if the breach is likely to result in a high risk to their rights and freedoms.

6. Data Processing Agreement

For cleaning professionals engaged through our platform, we act as a data controller for customer data shared during the matching and booking process. Cleaners are required to handle all customer data in compliance with GDPR.
